What does RegLens actually check?

Every upload is reviewed for therapeutic claims and promises of results, missing or weak disclaimers, safety and product identification details, endorsements and testimonials, rankings and superlatives, promotion of prescription-only medicines to the public, and visible signs of AI-generated or synthetic imagery. Each finding names the rule it comes from.

Which markets are covered?

Accepted Answer

India, USA, UK, European Union, UAE, Japan and Australia. Each audit runs against that market's own laws, codes and guidance, so the same creative can be acceptable in one market and flagged in another. Switch the target market to see how the same ad is judged elsewhere.

Question 3

Will the compliant draft change my product pack?

Accepted Answer

No. The uploaded pack is treated as the single source of truth — its shape, colours, logo, label text, dosage, strength and position are preserved. Only the advertising copy and imagery around the pack are rewritten. If a label on the pack itself breaks a rule, that is flagged for your regulatory team rather than altered.

What file types and sizes can I upload?

PNG, JPG or WEBP still images up to 15 MB. Video, GIF, HTML5 banners, audio and interactive formats are not supported, so animated creative needs a static frame exported from it.

Is my image stored anywhere?

Accepted Answer

The image is sent to the AI service for the audit and, if you generate one, for the compliant draft. RegLens keeps no copy in a database. The AI provider's own data terms still apply, so avoid uploading creative that contains real patient information.

Question 6

Can my team edit the rules the auditor uses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The rules library lists every guideline the auditor works from with its source, and lets you add, change or remove entries for each market. Edits are saved in your browser and used for audits run on that device.

Is the report legal advice?

Accepted Answer

No. It is an AI pre-screen meant to catch obvious problems before creative goes to review — not a guarantee of compliance and not a substitute for sign-off from your Medical, Legal and Regulatory team.

What can the audit not check?

Accepted Answer

Whether a claim has substantiation behind it, whether an ad actually holds a regulatory approval or advertisement licence, whether a testimonial has documented consent, and anything that lives outside the image itself. The limitations page sets out the full list.
